COPENHAGEN, July 31 (Reuters) - The head of Danish transport group DSV (DSV.CO) said on Friday that air and sea freight rates have bottomed out and he saw them stabilising at the lower level.
"I don't think rates will decrease any further than they have done now," Chief Executive Jens Bjorn Andersen said in a telephone conference on DSV's second-quarter results.
"I don't think they will increase dramatically either...I think we will see status quo," he said after the group reported a bigger-than-expected drop in profits for the second quarter.
"I think we will maintain the level (in rates) we have seen in the past three months," he added.
